Building a customer/business associate driven business is all about creating relationships and is NOT about SELLING! Before you try to "SELL" somebody, you must have a "relationship" with them , FIRST!

Besides this, most people have an aversion to "Multi Level, Network, Affiliate, Referral Marketing". Why? There is an inherent misunderstanding about our business, mainly due to bias and a lack of education . . .

Also, people feel as if it is NOT a "real business". Most people who do MLM, do it because they have lost their job or their business, not making enough money doing what they are doing and feel "embarrassed" that they have to go out and "sell" something that, they feel, MOST people are NOT interested in!

We have all experienced this "rejection" . . . those that can handle "rejection" and not take it personally and move on, are the ones that SUCCEED in our business! So what do we do, how do we make these "numbers" work in our favor?

Pick a solid, established company . . . a company preferabley with a "one of kind" product and a "UNI-LEVEL" compensation plan (if you look around, the TOP companies in our business, that have been around for more than 10 years, ONLY have "UNI-LEVEL" compensation plans)
.

Also choose companies that have the "TOOLS" to help people get started and make their job as INEXPENSIVE, EASY and SIMPLE as possible! MOST people do NOT like to SELL, period! Use "TOOLS" that do the "SELLING" and the qualifying . . .

There are some people who will recognize the opportunity, but MOST will only do it, if they are shown a way that is SIMPLE and SELF-REPLICATING! Our business is all about NUMBERS! The MORE people we can show our business to, the MORE will join and the MORE will succeed! We have all heard how ONLY 5% make it and 95% fail. Well, that is the ratio for almost anything that we start . . . losing weight, finishing college, improving our golf game, getting that promotion, etc., etc., etc.! 5% of a LITTLE is still a LITTLE, 5% of a LOT is MUCH, MUCH better! . . . When you start your TriVita business, no matter what level you enter at, it is not an investment, a "get rich quick", “all I have to is wait for spillover and my sponsor will build my business for me, etc., etc., etc.” scheme! You are buying a business, and as such should treat TriVita as you would a REAL business.

If you shelled out $100,000, or more, and bought a franchise and knew that you would NOT see a return on this capitalization for at least 5 years, what would you do? How would you build and run this business?

  • Would you buy that new car?
  • Take that vacation you always wanted?
  • Buy a new boat?
  • Eat out several times a week?
  • Remodel your house?
  • Put in a pool?

Of course not! You would sacrifice and budget to make this new business successful and to start paying off, as soon as possible!

  • One BA called me and said that he wasn’t making enough money with TriVita to buy customers
  • First I asked him if he had followed up with his customers . . . he said NO
  • Did he apply 100% of his compensation back into buying MAPs . . . NO
  • Did he cut back on the “extras” in his life . . . NO
  • I asked him how much money he spent, monthly, on extras (alcohol, eating out, Starbucks, movies, ball games, etc.)
  • He figured about $500, or so, a month
  • He cut his “beer and dining out” spending in half and started to buy 4 MAPs a month
  • 6 months later, he’s happy, in profit and can see the “light at the end of the tunnel”!

Any new business needs to advertise and start letting people know about it and start building a customer base! We are lucky: all we have to do is "partner" with TriVita and let them do the advertising and attract customers!

A little note about this: my son owns a “Mr. Handyman” franchise in San Diego. He told me that it costs him $100 every time his phone rings and a POTENTIAL customer, who has responded to one of his ads, calls! If/when this person becomes a customer it costs him $500. Hopefully, this person will remain a customer for years to come. My son said that if 15% to 20% of his existing customers ordered his services every month, he would be VERY VERY happy! Realistically, his customers are usually a “one or two time sale”.

He calls and follows up with his customers EVERY month:

  • seeing if they were happy with the work that was done
  • notifying them of monthly specials, etc.
  • just touching bases with them, see how they are doing and keeping up good customer relations

Your TriVita business is very unique in that there are several ways to build it . . . the choice is yours:

  1. Contribute to TriVita’s media campaign and their customers become yours!
    1. Increase your customer base, constantly! Why?
    2. To maintain a 15% to 20% monthly reorder rate your customer base has to be kept fresh and growing, just like a “real business”
    3. Some customers will stop buying or only buy, occasionally
    4. Just “buy customers” and let TriVita do all of the “backend marketing”
    5. Several successful TriVita businesses have been built this way
  2. OR . . . Take the “bull by the horns”, do the above, too, but also start promoting it everywhere you know on the Internet and in the “real world”, too! PLUS, CONTACT AND CULTIVATE YOUR MAPS!
    1. building a group only enhances your bottom line
    2. speeds up the return on your initial capitalization
    3. start taking profits sooner
    4. helping others become healthier and successful 

What other business gives you so many options:

  • “get rich quick”
  • “get rich slow”
  • "part time"
  • "full time"
  • just make enough to improve your health and get your products FREE

What I did when I started:

  1. started with 25 customers
  2. immediately bought 75 more
  3. sponsored my whole family (22)
  4. personally sponsored another 4 dozen, or so
  5. re-applied 100% of my compensation back into “buying MAPS” for the first 6 months  

What I do now:

  1. advertise on the Internet
    • SEO (Google “TriVita” and my web page “808ebiz.com” is on the FIRST page, with the corporate sites, trivita.com and trivita.net)
    • Blogging
    • RSS feeds
    • Lead generation
  2. Pass out my business cards** in the “real world”
    • When others give me their biz card, I give them mine
    • Gave a card to:
      • dentist
      • mailman
      • mechanic
      • accountant
      • lawyer
      • chiropractor
      • doctor
        • I’ve know these people for years – if they started a new business or service they would certainly tell me
      • salespeople after I’ve made a purchase
      • anyone and everyone that asks me “what do you do?”
      • leave for the waiter along with my tip at a nice restaurant
  3. BUY MORE MAPs! BUY MORE MAPs! BUY MORE MAPs! BUY MORE MAPs!
  4. WORK MY MAPs! WORK MY MAPs! WORK MY MAPs! WORK MY MAPs!

NOTE: do NOT try to “sell” someone after you’ve given them your card, even if they ask (unless you have at least 1/2 an hour and you have your laptop or presentation with you). Just tell them to go to the web page on your card, all the info is there, or set up a time later, AFTER they have had time to go to your page

First impressions are the best and only happen the ONE time! Be professional and NOT desperate!

PLUS, you want THOSE people who are interested enough to take the time to view your info and do their “due diligence” . . .  they will prove to be the ones you want in your business in the long haul!

Your success is up to you and how hard you work for it! TriVita is the perfect vehicle to help you fulfill your dreams! Where do you want to be in 5 years, in 10? You, definitely, don’t want to be saying, I “should’ve, could’ve, would’ve”!!
